Description
Yunnan Black Tea – a high end gourmet black tea from China’s Yunnan Province. It is distinguished by its finely twisted medium-sized leaves.
When oxidized, these beautiful buds turn gold rather than black, resulting in a rich, smooth flavour.
This loose tea is deliciously rich and malty, with lingering notes of chocolate and honey. Evokes a peppery sweetness. Its liquor is a characteristic brassy red colour different from other black teas.
Yunnan Black tea’s infusion is bright and has a light aroma. It can be enjoyed from breakfast throughout the day.
Brewing Method: Measure one teaspoon of tea per cup. Pour boiling water. Brew time 3 minutes. We suggest a steep of 3 minutes to experience the variety of flavours offered. Longer steeps of 3 + minutes will give more body to the cup.
