Our guinea pig kitchen area is large enough. You can put in disposable bedding, nice hay or shavings. You can still place food bowls, water bottles and fleece in the rest of the cage. Such a combination will make your pig house look neater.
Guinea Pigs actually use the kitchen area for most of their needs. The guinea pig litter box holds most of the guinea pig’s poop and urine, not on top of your fleece cage lining. Reduce how often you clean the fleece cage lining.
